Bathroom and kitchen inspiration, annotated
Beautiful rooms are useful only if you can see why they work. Each image below notes the finish, form and technical decision behind it.

Matte black freestanding bath mixer
A floor-mounted mixer needs its rough-in set before the screed is poured. Keep 150–200 mm between spout and bath rim.

Champagne on dark marble
Warm metals work particularly well against dark stone. Keep the tapware in a single metal finish throughout the room.

Thermostatic valve, brushed nickel
Two outlets means a diverter. Confirm the valve's flow rating before adding a rain head.

Tall mixer for vessel basin
Vessel basins need extra spout height. Check the aerator lands inside the bowl, not on the rim.

Matt black pull-down kitchen mixer
A magnetic dock keeps the spray head aligned; braided hoses outlast plastic ones.

Ceiling rain head, brushed chrome
Large rain heads need real pressure. Verify supply before specifying over 250 mm.
